ASTM A167 - Standard Specification for Stainless and Heat Resistant Chromium-Nickel Steel Plate, Sheet, and Strip.

Super duplex 2507 is a stainless steel that combines high mechanical strength and ductility.

Chemical composition in % steel Super Duplex 2507 : 

The content of chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen in the chemical composition of duplex S32750 provide it with 

high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chlorine-containing environment,e.g. sea water.

The low carbon content of 2507 reduces the chance of carbide precipitation during heat treatment, making the steel 

resistant to intergranular corrosion.

Mechanical properties of material Super Duplex 2507 :

Duplex S32750 features high mechanical strength (up to 570 MPa) and resistance to stress corrosion cracking. A pitting 

resistance equivalent of > 40.0 makes the material resistant to pitting. The S32750 also has a low thermal expansion 

coefficient and high thermal conductivity.
